Hi all,

Just a quick question to see if anyone knows how to pursue a career within h&s in the sporting industry? Do football, rugby, etc clubs employ consultancies or in-house staff? I would be very interested, as i'm sure most sport fans would be, of trying to get into this side of H&S employment. If anyone has worked in this industry before or has any advice they could give that would be great.

Cheers, Gavin

I used to work in the sports club industry (football, rugby, cricket and race courses). The ones I was involved with (big names) had people internally. Some use consultants as there are Safety, Security and Food Hygiene issues to deal with. Hope this helps.
