Posted By steve_r I work for a company which is actively seeking to recruit (not a recruitment agency) - you can't see my email address and I won't describe the vacancy, so hopefully I'm not breaking any site rules.
This is the first time I've actively looked on the site with a view to select potential applicants, and I've got a few comments which I would like to pass on:
It would be very helpful if people could post the location where they wish to work in the subject title - I know some do but many don't;
I know it's a public forum and some won't want to put too much detail about themselves but I do think some people need to give more thought about their posting - this is the first contact with a potential employer and it should make some impact;
Less experienced people / fairly new to health and safety shouldn't be put off because I'm sure there are employers looking to recruit at this level - however I do think you need to think carefully about your posting and compensate your inexperience by stating your personal strengths.
I don't mean to sound patronizing, these were just my thoughts when looking through the site.

Posted By Glyn Atkinson I share Steve's viewpoint on geographical area / radius for working or a new location that you may wish to move to, if that applies.
I caught one person in the net recently who wished to re-locate just by chance on a different site forum but with no similar info on this thread.
They have since gone onto a short list for interview, so sell yourselves by giving as much info as possible now that the threads are very carefully watched for non transgression of the rules.
