Hello one and all and allow me to introduce myself. My name is Andy Lamb, a PhD student at The University of Bolton.
I have seven years industrial experience (including some time as a H&S liason deputy in a lab setting!) and I recently sat and passed the Biological Safety Officer course at The University of Sussex.
My question is this, does anyone know of any Journals or magazine which advertises Biological Safety Officer Posts as it is a field in which I would like to make a living.Would it be worthwhile applying to establishments on spec?

Universities and research institutions (eg MRC) often employ BSOs, and they generally put their vacancies on jobs.ac.uk.

Posted By LIM BOON KHOON I am interested to discuss the subject matter with you. There are many research institutes with labs at their workplace. Most of them are within the university campus.
