Hello all,

I work for a small company that specialises in software for the asbestos industry. We are looking to expand and require expertise in sales and marketing. Ideally we would like to find someone with some experience in the asbestos industry or in the broader health and safety arena to work with us on a flexible basis. This is not a pre-requisite however and would like to speak to anyone with any sales experience or someone looking to move into the software/technology side of things.

I was wondering if anyone had any ideas or experience of this kind of recruitment. Essentially I am trying to work out where I can find the appropriate person. My current ideas include:

1. Advertise on the websites of trade bodies such as ARCA and ACAD

2. Advertise in magazines/journals. If so, which ones?

3. Career Forums? Are there any other career forums of interest?

4. Agencies. Does anyone recommend any agencies that could help in this area.

5. Any other ideas?

I'd be grateful for any advice or help.

my advice is get a sales person with software sales experience and teach them a bit about asbestos, or put them on a short course during their induction, rather than other way around.
