Hello All,

Good Morning

I am just about to register for my NEBOSH Construction Certificate Exam,
having worked for about a year as a H&S Junior.
However I have been advised that NVQ3 H&S Const is the same. I am planning
to move back to Barbados in about a year and wondered if anyone in the
forum knows if NVQ is recognised in Barbados.

Thanks for any help that you can give.

Sue

Hi Sue, just back from Barbados and we have asked all our safety officers in the carribean to carryout the NEBOSH international cert, as it is more in line with the localities requirements.

Regard

Hi Rdot, Thanks for the response I have another question regarding the regs currently being used in Barbados. I know that they are currently using a version of the old factories act, but I had heard that new legislation was coming in. Have you any information on this as I know on a lot of sites there is very little or no attention to the safety of workers.
