Hello,

I realise no-one will know me because this is the first time i've posted, but i'm jayne and
although i won't qualify until may/june, i will be qualifying as an Environmental Health Officer but my preferred choice of section of work is def health and Safety.

I have been wondering if there's anyone out there who could offer me in East Yorkshire 1days work a week in H&S setting to start with alongside my studies until June where i would then be looking for full-time work.

Two reasons - no money!
- thought it would be good to get my 'foot on the ladder' so to speak.

Anyway, bye for now, hopefully i'll get to speak to some of you in the future,

kind regards

Jayne

Hi

You do well to start getting out there now.

I would be quite happy to meet you for a coffee and offer any assistance of the local knowledge! It may be also worth you contacting Wendy at the Hull DART project, her scheme promotes graduates, getting them into the workplace, mentoring etc. Its a good foot in a door if nothing else opens in the mean time.

Give me a mail direct and I will give you any details that I can.

Regards

Linda

Linda,
You mention Wendy and the DART project- can you point me towards info on this (is there a website?) as it sounds the sort of thing that might be very beneficial copied elsewhere.
Thanks
FJ
