I'm a first time user of the forum so I hope this is ok.

I am currently employed as a Facilities Manager within the Education Sector with my previous experience being in Leisure Management (both of these positions had/have around 50% of time dedicated to H&S).

NEBOSH National Diploma, GradIOSH

Looking to move full time into health and Safety, would like to stay in the East Midlands.

Any advice or comments would be appreciated. CV available on request at neilsmith7@aol.com

register with an agency check the SHP site jobs page for agencies using it and register on their websites, companies pay these people to find suitable candidates for jobs. Im sure in no time you will have several offers on the phone within days.

I have used 2-3 agencies in the past just to find short term self consultancy work and can certainly recommend a few or point you in some good directions.

Thank you for the response to my thread.

At present I am looking into taking another training course, my options are

NEBOSH Fire Cert
NEBOSH Construction Cert
or something in Environmental Management

All the training I undertake is self funded, so I don't want to waste money. Which course would give me more prospects and make my move into full time H&S easier?
