Posted By peter gotch 1 As an employer we consider experience as well as qualifications [Amongst other things].
So suggest you post some information re your background including any non-"H&S" jobs.

Posted By MB Peter, I have been involved in H&S for 3 years, Factory work and some construction experience, general advice, risk assessments etc. At present I am a H&S Manager for a small company acting as there competent person, developing and delivering training, policies and procedures, RA, method statements, liaising with authorities etc.

Posted By Brian Weaver Qualifications are great however I believe you will find that experience is a major factor with regards to salary expected/desired. Major companies I have worked with and experience gained is that major companies look for a minimum of 5 years construction/chemical experience on H & S project management 3 million to 50 million. This is my 12th year in the H & S project management construction/chemical industries.
With experience you can usually shop around until you find your ceiling.
