Posted By Bob Burton Following my last post "Health & Safety Trainer looking for help and advice", could anyone suggest a manual handling qualification I could go for say 3-5 days that would be able to back up a CIEH train the trainer. In my current employment I have had full in-house training and plenty of experience with conducting MH risk assessments. I have also written and delivered MH training courses, but would like to back this up with a formal qualification. I have seen plenty of 1 day courses but I'm sure they would not give me any more than I already know. Thanks if anyone can help

I am attending the "Skills in Manual Handling Training - MH for instructors" tomorrow (11 - 12 April)again down at the Grange in Leicester. Great venue, great instructors and great courses. Posted By Bob Burton Thanks for all the advice, Over the last few weeks I have been weighing up my career path and looking at most of the recent threads, I know it is going to be tough. For the moment I have decided to put all my resources into sitting the NEBOSH diploma as I am assuming this is generally recognised as the minimum standard for any H&S position. I have also figured out that pound for pound, I will get more out of a diploma than the sum of all the individual courses (does anyone agree?). Bob
