I am relocating to the UK in a few months and would like to get into the health and safety industry. I have been in the Australian Military (Army) for the past 24 yrs with the last 8 yrs heavily involved in H&S, in particular hazard identification, risk management, H&S Training, investigations, designing and implementing safety plans and management systems auditing.

I have an Australian H&S Diploma and will be sitting my NEBOSH certificate exams in Sept. I also have a international lead auditors qualification along with a few short courses, namely safe work at heights, confined spaces, basic riggers certificate and a safe scaffolding course.

I am keen to work in construction, oil & gas or any other related industry. Could anyone please pass on advice on any other courses that may be of help or general advice on the best path to follow in order to gain some experience in construction etc. Thankyou
