Posted By Phillipe Good afternoon I have an interview next week and need to brush up on my answering skills ! It has been a while since I attended one of these and am looking for some advice, techniques, things to steer clear of, etc. Can anyone provide such advice or point me in the right direction? Cheers Phil

Posted By CFT Phillipe I am 200 pages through writing a book on this subject and one day I may just get it finished and published. In the meantime if you would like to contact me for some friendly assistance I would be only too pleased to suggest some differing methods, one of which may well suit you. CFT.

Posted By Pete Longworth The best bit of advice that I got was this. At the end of the interview when you are asked if you have any questions ask them if there is anything about what you have said or done in the interview that causes them concern. If they say no it means you have done OK, if yes it gives you a chance to address any issues there and then and hopefully turn any negatives into positives.

Posted By Richiek Listen to the questions. No rush to answer them. Be smart, make notes too. You will be asked the normal things talk about you, cv runthrough, why you want the job, why are you suited and make sure you know about the role and company. Having done lots of interviews you will always be nervous. Dont worry but the best advice is enjoy and get more experience from the interview for the next time. Whenever I havent got a job they have missed out!!!!?? Good luck
