Hi fellas, I have a job offer in the said area and I'm currently working in Dubai in an Oil and Gas Industry and the offer falls in the same industry. I'm just curious about the procedure on getting the resident/working permit visa from Home Office Department. I'm holding a residence visa here in Dubai and my homeland is Philippines. Is there anyone here who can give me advise about the documents I need and how to know if the agency I enter is bonafide.
regarding the contract they already send it to me by email. everything is there except the full job description.
anyone also can tell me the cost of living there..... many thanks in advance...

In your situation, I would look at the Home Office website:
http://www.bia.homeoffice.gov.uk/
It looks very clear and user-friendly.
Norfolk is a good place to live, but communications with the rest of Britain often leave something to be desired. IOSH East Anglia Branch covers Norfolk and holds meetings in various Norfolk locations.
Pronunciation of place names sometimes borders on the bizarre. Jasper Carrott once did a hilarious piece on the subject.
