Can you be a bit more specific in your request? When you say the 'petrol industry' are you talking about the downstream part of the oil and gas industry, or is it a more general question about the entire industry?

Posted By KATE BYRNE Hi
The question is for a interview presentation- so its what possible new technologies or future developments can the petrol industry use?
Any ideas would be great!!!! Thanks K

Posted By MP Grayson Kate, if it’s for an interview could you steer the topic down the road (pun intended) of looking at alternative energy sources.
There is a lot of talk about splitting water to extract the Hydrogen and Oxygen atoms. It all sounds great but many do not think about how we could safely carry tanks of hydrogen in the boot of our cars or how we would fill up without blowing up half the town.
Past history does not give a nice warm feeling. See Hindenburg disaster 6 May 37.
Best of luck
