I am currently looking for trainee or junior position in HSE in the North West. I am willing to start at the absolute bottom. I am currently working for a international metal and chemical processing company as a emergency response specialist. My main role is running the emergency response dept(industrial firefighting). My other duties include assisting the health and safety manager. In essence my main priorities is the effective running of the Emergency Response Department as well as assisting the Health and Safety Manager in ensuring that the company complies with all HSE, Fire Regulations and maintains the safe working practices and excellent Health and Safety Culture.
I have the IOSH Certificate in Management and I will be starting the NEBOSH Cert in the next couple of months(self funding). I would be extremely grateful for any advice or assistance anyone could offer about the best way to get my foot in the door.
My email is robertsinfo@msn.com if anyone requires further information about myself or requires a copy of my C.V

What's wrong with the position you have at the moment as it sounds as if you are already working in a EHS dept. Maybe speak to your own employer about gaining experience in different areas of EHS. Seems extreme to look for a job else where when you already have your foot in the door with a company
