Hi everyone,
I am looking at doing the Level 3 H & S course with the British Safety Council. Can anyone tell me which is best between this and the Nebosh training. Is one more acceptable than the other, or are they comparable, or totally different?
I am new to this industry and looking for entry level training, which will be self-funded (groan)and I intend to try and do some voluntary work with any local business' which will let me shadow their Health & Safety peoples.
Thanks for reading my post,
Penny

I will recommend Nebosh as I don't have any in-depth knowledge of the BSC version; Nebosh IMO is more widely known by recruiters in industry and 'should you' wish to take the Nebosh Diploma at a later date you will have 'some' idea of how Nebosh questions are laid out, (Cert and Dip though are not to be confused as being similar in required learning, for they are not)
There are references to both here on the forum and if you would care to click top right, (yes that's the one, where it says 'search, enter keyword go' then run a search in the window you are taken to under forum search, widen the search parameters for say 6 months and have a good read; much has been discussed on the merits of both.
Good luck whatever one you decide upon.
