Posted By Michael Reid I have recently passed my Level 3 IOSH.(Completed in 7 months) I currently work for a very large construction group and have been a site/workforce safety representative for over 4 years. Unfortunately my employer does not have any vacancies within the safety department for the foreseeable future. I am now looking for an opportunity to actively work as a full time safety advisor and progress to full M IOSH level 4. I have 50% funding for this course with the remainder reclaimable through CITB/Scope.
Can anyone give me advice on where best to look? I live in North Lanarkshire close to Glasgow. Regards

In terms of where you go now for level 4, there are a number of options in our part of the world.
Is it SVQ route you want to follow ? or are you considering other routes - you can get more details looking at the providers listed in the membership links within the IOSH website - (look for courses that give you GradOSH) - In North Lanarkshire area then GCU are the nearest provider of such a course - another that concentrate on an SVQ type course include Stevenson College. Also a few providers of SVQ can be found in professional magazines
hope this helps
