Would somebody please be kind enough to help,
I have recently changed jobs and have been asked to put together a memo introducing myself to the business. Previously this has either been done for me, or I've just slipped into the role. Safety is new to my new employer and so I can't just shout "I'm here" It has to also be "Safety is here, and this is what it is". I've binned about 10 drafts to date and am about to give up. Has any body else ever had to do this, and if so, could you possibly give me a steer in the right direction.
Many thanks

How about a brief work history, followed by what safety means to you in one sentence or very brief paragraph? (your mission statement).
After that a brief rundown of how you will want to integrate both management and workforce into any safety processes, and to finish, a thank you in advance for all future help and support in your new role with them, with a contact location and phone number for ease of access to you.
(Then inform them which brand of AK 47 you will be toting for safety breach offenders)
Don't put that last bit - even if you want to !
Best of luck !

Many thanks Glyn, I was thinking of something similar but your comments have really helped. My problem is i'm good at doing, not so good at saying what it is going to do.
Thank you again
