Posted By Darren (Daz) Fraser Best thing to do is to look at the various salary checkers around and look in the like of SHP at the vacancies. Entry level with no experience I have seen for 12K, CMIOSH for 18K, however most NGC around the 18 - 30K with 2+ years experience and CMIOSH 25K - 60K with 5+ years experience What we think we should earn and what our employees think are 2 different amounts. I would suggest if you can to pass the 2nd exam as this will help you argue your case for an increase, also what have you achieved over the past 12 months etc, sometimes it is worth ignoring a salary increase and securing a training development fund package in place of. If that does not work, let your feet do the walking.

Posted By Marie Louise hi Karen, What industry are you in? What type of work are you doing day to day? Did you get a replacement assistant when you were promoted? Where are you based? (region) If your looking at job adverts weather intending to move or to ask for an increase some points worth considering. I have to agree with above though. Take all and every training course on offer and ask for more, ask away if your not sure what to go for next. Marie
