Posted By GavinR Hi folks, Just wondered if anyone out there has worked as a safety consultant within the banking sector and if so did they find this a rewarding and interesting position? What kind of issues would cause the major problems and is there a network for H&S professionals within this sector? I am currently in engineering/production and interested by this area of H&S. Any feedback would be appreciated. Cheers

Posted By VJM Hi Gavin, I'm starting in the banking sector on Friday after being in facilities management for a few years. I'll be managing a team of workstation assessors, so I imagine that will be a major issue, although i'm sure not the only one. After 6 months i'm sure i'll have the jist of it. Good luck changing your path, hope you find it it rewarding. Vanessa

Posted By Joe Hardiment Gavin, The banking sector will provide a range of environments for you to get stuck into. For example when they have a 'shop refit', controlling contractors. Anyway I hope that you make the right investment! Cheers Joe
