Posted By AMelrose Without further information I'd guess that they will give you a scenario of some sort and ask how you would deal with the issue. I'd assume that they are looking to see if; a) you know a wee bit about the processes involved e.g. if they are a manufacturing company. b) your knowledge of H&S legislation e.g. What breaches there may have been and what regulation / ACOP states c) you had initiative - perhaps coming up with a solution to a problem that they have at the moment / had in the past. I'd read as much as you can about the company and what they do as a starter for 10. I remember I had an interview a LONG time ago where I was handed a plastic shampoo bottle and asked how I could increase productivity for the company?! I wasn't given any time to think up a suitable answer but was to say the first thing that came into my mind. The bottle was in the shape of a dolphin or something so I said they could change the bottle shape (something slightly less elaborate so using less material with fewer faulty bottles). The interviewer said nothing and to this day I don't know whether it was a good answer or not(I never got the job but neither did the other 5 people who attended so I assume their answers weren't any better than mine!)
