I am qualified to MSc level and last owrked as a safety engineer at BNFL. I left in 1994 after the birth of my daughter nad am now in a position to return to full time employment. I do not have a NEBOSH qualification and am unsure as to what level, etc I need. Can anyone advise?

Hi Lynne.
You are likely to get a more helpful response if you make your email address visible.
Otherwise it is almost impossible for a potential employer to contact you without breach the acceptable use guidelines, specifically AUG3.
Regards, Peter

Hi Lynne,
Probably do it in stages, NEBOSH General Certificate first. Gives a good grounding in the current approaches and legislation updating.
Then get a job - Cert is seen as baseline for entry.
Then do the diploma - depends how long you plan on working in the field. Then progress to Grad and Chartered status.
Lots of work available in many fields - I would imagine that BNFL would look favourably at you based on your previous employment in the safety area - if that was suitable for geographic etc reasons.
Good luck with whatever path you choose.
