Posted By Jane Lowe Dear all I recently put the following request on the career forum and have been quite encouraged by the amount of people reading the thread and also by the amount of people contacting me direct - however in order to appeal to a wider audience I would like to add that I am willing to travel within the UK and beyond for the right job (possibility of being based from home) and that I would also like to take my first steps into Health and Safety Consultancy. I would be interested in hearing from any companies that are currently recruiting that may find my experience and CV or some interest. PREVIOUS THREAD I am currently working as a Health & Safety and Facilities Manager for an international financial company. The company has three sites in the UK with over 450 employees of which I have full H&S responsibility. I have been in a fortunate position in that I have had to set up the department from scratch and so I have had to put a lot of time and effort into all aspects of health and safety from writing and implementing policies and procedures, carrying out audits, writing and delivering training programmes, carrying out risk assessments, giving h&s advice to managers and directors and much, much more. I will be commencing my MSc in Occupational Health and Safety Management in September and I am looking for a new, exciting and challenging role where I can expand my knowledge and experience and bring something new to the right company.
