Posted By SharonR Hi I have been a Library Manager for the past five years which means that I have been the Facilities Manager for two libraries. My work has included amongst other things, risk assessments, staff training, ( I am a qualified Manual Handling Trainer), Fire Risk Assessment, managing contractors and dealing with all the day to day running of the buildings. I so enjoy the health and safety part of my current job that I have been doing the NEBOSH General Certificate and I take my exams in two weeks time with the intention of making a new career in health and safety full time. I am looking for a role where I can add to my experience and also learn as much as I can. Longer term I would like the opportunity to take the NEBOSH Diploma. I am in the Portsmouth area but I would be willing to travel around Hampshire. I would be grateful if anyone knows of anything that would be suitable they would let me know. I have the enthusiasm and will to succeed I just need someone to give me a chance. Thanks.
