Hi i have currently worked in Telecommunications and IT for the past 15 years, working abroad for many years. I was safety advisor for my department, for 3 years.I hold aIOSH Managing Safely Certificate (5 day course.
I hold a 2.1 BSc in IT. I have just enrolled on the NEBOSH general certificate.
Would I be able to get a job offshore with my degree and NEBOSH.
I would appreciate any advice or comment.
Thank You in advance

Nicky,
All depends on what role offshore you are looking for?
The working environment is complex, work at height, heavy lifting, pressure systems, noise, mechanical, electrical, hydracarans, hazardous chemicals the list can go on a lot futher!
basics... need offshore survival and medical for UK and most of Europe before setting foot into the industry
