Qualifications: - NEBOSH National Diploma with Distinction - Received two NEBOSH Best Candidate Awards 2008 (Overall and Unit B) - Upgraded from TechIOSH to GradIOSH, now working towards CMIOSH status - NEBOSH Construction and Fire Risk Management Certificates - Starting NEBOSH Diploma in Environmental Management next month (due to complete June 2009) Experience: - 7 years experience in H&S, including 18 months in Environmental management - 4 and 1/2 years in managerial or supervisory positions - Experience in a wide range of environments, including heavy manufacturing, food manufacturing, construction, demolition, refurbishment, warehouses, distribution, logistics, GRP (glass-reinforced plastics) production, aerodrome fire safety, call-centres and offices - Previous roles have included management, development and delivery of training - Excellent knowledge of management systems, including 18001 and 14001 - Strong IT skills - Persuasive communicator - Able to engage with all levels of the business - Experience of working in challenging environments - Previously worked overseas - Fully fluent in French (written and verbal) I am based in Hull, but consider all of Yorkshire (East, West, North and South) and all of North Lincolnshire to be easily commutable.
