I have been very encouraged by the emails have been sent by a number of companies and hopefully something further will grow from them. In the meantime it would appear that the forum is not widely used and so I thought I would post my details on here as well as its seems a lot of other people have done the same and had good responses. I would be grateful to hear from anyone who has any current Health and Safety positions that meet my current experience and qualification. I have 2 years experience managing and setting up a Health and Safety department for an international financial company covering 3 sites and over 400 employees. I am currently studying for a MSc (Masters) in Occupational and Environmental Health and Safety Management and also have a number of other Health and Safety qualifications. I have experience in writing policies and procedures, writing and delivering health and safety training, all aspects of fire safety, carrying out risk assessments and audits, providing health and safety advice to the Board of Directors and the Senior Management Team plus much more. I also manage a team of 4 people and manage the Facilities function of the organisation. In addition to this I have over 10 years work experience working for a wide range of companies in a variety of jobs. I am hardworking, enthusiatic, highly motivated and willing to learn. I am looking for an exciting and challenging role in Dubai where I can further my Health and Safety career. I am available for an immediate start and can send my CV out on request.
