I am presently working for a international metal and chemical processing company as a emergency response specialist/HS Officer. This involves running the emergency response dept(industrial firefighting) as well as deputising for the health and safety manager and carrying out risk assessments, safety tours/audits and holding training sessions. In essence my main priorities are the effective running of the Emergency Response Department as well as assisting the Health and Safety Manager in ensuring that the company complies with all HSE, Fire Regulations and maintains the safe working practices and excellent Health and Safety Culture.
