Posted By 54 Paul Dodd This my first post as I am a new member of IOSH I hope someone can pass on some advise please!. I recently gained the NGC, But have very little practical experience in the field. I am very keen to get a foot on the ladder & secure a future career in H&S. I have looked at numerous Recruitment websites but note that all the advertised jobs require experience(Catch 22) I have a few days holiday due & would really appreciate being allowed to shadow a H&S professional to gain this experience. I don't know if this is something that is even allowed (Insurance etc) Any feedback will be gratefully received!!

Posted By peter gotch 1 Hi Paul 1. Insurance should not be a problem for 99% of potential organisations. 2. I suggest you give the readers indication of your location and any employment background. Good luck, Peter
