Posted By RAS Dear all I am writing to ask if any one would allow me to come and work for them on a voluntary basis at entry or assistant level in health and safety. I have recently completed a self funded Nebosh certificate with results to be announced by November 2008. My experience involved conducting Risk Assessments, inspections and assisting in accident investigations as well as attending health and safety committee meetings. I have experience in working in a manufacturing background. A copy of my CV is available to anyone who may have an opening for me. Ideally I would like to be able to work close to Reading but am willing to travel to London. Any help would be appreciated. Kind regards Ras

Posted By Cas Ras I commend your commitment but I would hope that you will not need to work voluntarily. Get your results, if you passed start registering with employment agencies (CV Library is a good one) you will find that many companies are offering the opportunity to get a foot in the door to people with the Cert. Employers worth their salt will look for old school qualities - reliable, punctual, good communication skills, well presented, keen and interested. Keep it in mind that these are selling points. Good luck to you. Cas (no relation)
