Posted By Lee24 Hi, I am 24 years old and after a couple of years in sales after finishing uni i am looking for a career change, and move into the off shore industry. I have recently started the NEBOSH GIC on an e-learning basis as well as having a full time job. I was due to take the exam in Dec 08 but have decided to postpone til march 09 due to the fact i am struggleing to find the study time in such short amount of time, and feel i will be more confident in March. I am interested to hear other peoples experiances in taking this certificate, and how much study time you gave your self. I am planning to take fire fighter team member then leader in Jan/Feb time as well again any experiances of these course would help. Thanks, for any info Lee

Posted By stephen b jones Hi, If there is one piece of valuable advice i could give, it would be to test yourself using past exam papers, i would aim to sit one paper each week, it's surprising how quickly the two hours goes on exam day! Good luck, Steve
