Posted By Safety Lemon Faz The way I learnt was to go on a Lead Auditor's course, as this gives you a reasonable grounding of what the systems require. My thinking is that if you know what you are auditing then you should know the system! However, it is beneficial to have a quality, safety and environment qualification before you embark on this, and (I stand to be corrected) but this might be a requirement before enrolling on the course. You only need to do one full course, i.e. 9001 and then conversion courses for 14001 and 18001. SL
