Posted By hwatts I am 19 years old and i currently work in retail but i am interested im pursuing a career in health and safety and I have no idea how to get into it. I have no qualifictions in the area or experience in the job but i would like to be a health and safety advisor in the retail industry i am wondering if anyone can tell me what courses i would need to take to get qualified and be reconsied by employers i have no idea where to start. thanks

Posted By Alan Hoskins H, Many people here began their H&S careers as TU Safety Reps. If you are a member of a TU try volunteering... SRs are quite scarce in some areas. You can get time off for free training as well. Best wishes. Alan
