Hi Guys,

I could really do with your help here! I don't want to sound too desperate, but after doing twelve years voluntary work, i really need to get out in the big wide world of health & safety.

I am qualified with the Nottingham Trent University Diploma in safety, health and environmental management, and have chartered membership. I have been working in local authority for seventeen years.

I have been doing varied general health & safety work, and touched on training of colleagues, managers, etc.

i have applied for various posts, registered with agencies, etc. but to no avail!

Where do i go next? All responses will be greatly appreciated.

I've had this idea that this might be the case, but didn't really like to admit it. The problem i now have is that i have gained most of my experience from within this source of work (voluntary).
