Posted By cres Hi All, Whats better the C&G 7303 PTLLS or the CIEH professional trainer cert.?? Initially I will be training in house but with the view to providing training for other companies in the future. I just not sure which is the best course as they are both about the same length and price and seem to have simalar content. Does any one know if either one has better recognition within the industry. I know that centers of further education need the 7303 but if you do the CIEH Cert you can become CIEH approved so im just not sure which is best. Kind Regards Crescent

Posted By Geoff Ferneyhough Hi Crescent, They are pretty similar courses. I have the 7303 and am CIEH approved. With either you can further your training ambitions. Regards Geoff

Posted By ITK I believe the 7303 has a more wider appeal than the CIEH. I did it last year and found it to be a great course. ITK

Posted By Jim T Martyn By your response do you mean that if you provide the CIEH with a copy of your City & Guilds 7303 they then automatically isuue you with a CIEH Professional Trainers Cert? Jim

Posted By Martyn Hendrie Jim, My comment was in response to Crescent's "I know that centers of further education need the 7303 but if you do the CIEH Cert you can become CIEH approved so I'm just not sure which is best." Which I took to mean that you needed the CIEH course to be a CIEH tutor. Their criteria require tutor to have a level 3 qualification. Therefore, the C&G 7303 would meet that part of the criteria. I was not suggesting that you would automatically be given the CIEH qualification. In my view they are separate but equivalent Kind Regards Martyn
