Posted By Jane Lowe Dear all I am currently seeking employment in the North West and hope my experience and qualifications are of interest to anyone currently recruiting. I am avaialble to start work from 5th January 2009. I am currently working as a Health & Safety and Facilities Manager for an International Financial Company, I manage a team of four people and have been responsible for every aspect of setting up and managing the Health and Safety and Facilities department over three sites with 450 employees. I work closely with the Managing Director and the Board of Directors offering Health & Safety and Facilities advice to ensure compliance with current legislation and take a hands on approach in all aspects of the business. I have developed the function from nothing and so I have had to work hard to make the department a success within this fast paced environment. I deliver, on a multi site, multi department portfolio, the agreed service, strategy and business plan with the company and to prepare monitor and execute the agreed budgets on time and within the agreed parameters.Within my Facilities capacity my main priority is to actively to determine and exceed internal and external customer requirements in a timely and cost effective manner. I also have a good working knowledge of all departments within the business, good working relationships with all departmental managers. I also carry out regular audits and take a keen interest in ensuring I have a full working knowledge of all aspects of the facilities function. My Curriculum Vitae shows a snapshot of my current achievements which I would be happy to discuss in further detail. I have a BA in Hotel and Catering Management, various Health and Safety qualifications and memberships including Associate member of the BIFM and Affiliate member of IOSH, I am currently studying for my MSc (Masters) in Occupational and Environmental Health and Safety Management and Prince2 Foundation. I am a highly motivated, self driven, forward thinking, confident and professional individual looking for a new, exciting and challenging role within Health and Safety and/or Facilities Management.
