Posted By Tony Lawton Hello forum ! I am looking for permanent part time or full time HSE work to compliment my current heath and safety career progression. I thought I would make a post here as I have read similar posts by other members that have had positive results (i.e. offers of employment). I currently work two days a week within Manchester Airport's Health and Safety Section alongside studying for the NEBOSH National Diploma through distance learning (Unit A Exams due January 2009). This is a temporary contract due to end mid 2009. Typically I experience safety issues involving members of the public, and contractors currently working on refurbishment projects within the airport terminals. This all builds upon the NEBOSH National General Certificate I have, alongside 20 years work experience (mainly supervisory/managerial) within telecomms / aviation / and warehouse DC sectors. I am interested in an opportunity to develop and build upon my practical health and safety experience/qualifications, aiming preferably at permanent full-time employment, but will consider permananr part-time to supplement the two days I currently work. Therefore I am keen to hear from organisations that (despite the current economic climate) may see this as an opportunity to take onboard and invest in an enthusiastic, proactive person. I can contribute positively and make a difference given the opportunity to do so. I have my own car, CCDL, and am willing to travel in/around Stockport and the Greater Manchester area. Please email me (tony.lawton3@ntlworld.com) or contact me on 07790 221379 should you wish further information / my CV. I realise this thread will be locked, so thanks in advance for taking the time to read it, or sending any useful email contacts my way. Regards Tony
