Chances of future employment in england?

Posted By Benzeni I am due to start the Nebosh general certificate next week. I will be doing it over the course of 3 months, in which I intend to work hard for. Im currently enployed in the road lining industry as a road liner and have been for 2 years. I previously attended university but consequently didnt complete my course. I have decent grades in my A' levels and I just looking for advice on the career opportunites in England?? I live in Northern Ireland and would consider moving across the water for a time to enhance my experience. What would be the realistic opportunites if I passed the certificate?
Any guidance would be much appreciated Many thanks Benzeni

Posted By CW If you have a job at the moment, hang on to it. Seriously, now is not a good time to relocate/ change jobs. Good luck with the general but you will more than likely have to sit on it if you are looking to get into construction over here.
Look at doing the construction certificate next.
Also there are plenty of experienced H&S people over here that will fill 99% of vacancies before you even get a look in.
Sorry to be blunt, but that is the way it is.

Posted By Kirsty Davies2 you can always keep looking for something suitable.
Re-location would not be a problem, once you've managed to secure a decent position.
All the best.
