Posted By david weightman I am looking to further my career in health and safety. I was made redundant in December 2008 from Novartis Consumer Health, where I had worked for 18 years. I have been struggling to find the appropriate work. I passed my NEBOSH General Certificate in 2004 and have been a Technical Member of IOSH since 2008. I have been involved in all health and safety issues since 1992, when I first became a health and safety representative at Novartis Consumer Health. I am fully trained in all aspects of risk assessment (manual handling, DSE, COSHH, PUWER) and particularly enjoy health and safety inspections and auditing and offering advice and information on all aspects of health and safety law. I am from a chemical and pharmaceutical background and can offer excellent advice and solutions. I would like to work as an advisor or consultant in my future career and would be prepared to work in all industries relating to health and safety issues.
