Hi everyone

I need a little advice on getting my first role within H&S.

I currently work in the haz waste industry, and my H&S background is limited to health and safety rep, with other responsibilities (not recognised in ones salary!) added to this.

I currently hold the NEBOSH General Cert, Nottingham and Trent Uni Diploma in Health, Safety and Environmental Management, and I am registered as a professional trainer with the CIEH. I am GRAD IOSH status, and an associate member of IEMA.

Despite many applications, I am unable to secure an interview with a prospective employer, let alone a position. Could anyone please point me in the right direction??

Many thanks

Andy

Keep pushing and keep applying. Someone out there will need someone of your specific talents.

I do seem to be coming across alot of employers that are looking for (as a starting level)minimum NeBOSH Dip or equivelant.

With having a training background, have you thought of a change in direction.

Just a thought
