Posted By maxmillan maddy Hi Guys I have completed my nebosh in construction certificate. I am looking to be an advisor in the construction industry,however, i have no construction background. Will it be a setback? Would appreciate any advice on what would be the best way forward. Thanks

Posted By 4lfie Hi Maxmillan Congratulations on completing your NCC, great achievement. I won't kid you; you might find it hard getting into the construction industry at the moment, 1 because of the current climate and 2 because the industry is very experience driven. However this said, it isn't impossible, a possible way in is to try looking for an assistant CDMC position; plus having a working knowledge of CDM will serve you well when applying for future opportunities.
