I won't kid you; you might find it hard getting into the construction industry at the moment, 1 because of the current climate and 2 because the industry is very experience driven. However this said, it isn't impossible, a possible way in is to try looking for an assistant CDMC position; plus having a working knowledge of CDM will serve you well when applying for future opportunities.
