Posted By Charlie0538 Hi And1, Mine would be, Due to a change in legislation, I informed the H&SPG of the new "no Smoking" regulations that were due to come into force and advised that all store and office premises that are open to the public must display appropriate signage. I then sourced the appropriate signage and along with a memo of where the signs must be placed, sent these to all locations before the required date of the regulations being applied. This pack has now been attached to a new location opening pack to ensure that there is continued compliance. So to break that down, you are informing the interviewer what you came across that needed your help or input, what you had to do to ensure compliance and then how you ensure future compliance. Hope that helps. Charlie

Posted By HoneyB I don't think they are necessarily expecting a big project. When asked that question at an interview, I told them about a situation where I was approached by one of our plant supervisors about a noise issue on the plant. I simply took this up and did the noise survey/mapping, wrote the report, ensured signs were put up and also ensured that all employees had the appropriate hearing protection. In the process I discovered an employee that couldn't use ear muffs for medical and had to research and source for alternatives for him. I also highlighted the challenges, i remembered talking about the shift pattern which made it difficult to take measurements at some times cos I work a day shift while the plant work on a 3 shift basis. It went down really well with the interviewers. Just to give you an idea, I am sure you have done a lot of things that can be classified as a project if you know how to frame it. Honey
