Posted By Gus Jen I use safety directory as my 'portal' for different countries try: http://www.safetydirectory.com/regional/italy.htm also EU - OSHA will link you but from what I can remember there is not much content in English http://osha.europa.eu/fo...ndex.stm?set_language=en My limited experience out there was with a multi-national and I found much similarity to the UK / rest of Europe( which makes sense if you think its all EU directives) I have to admit I do not know the qualifications/ competence registration framework out there for H&S professionals though.. Good luck Gus

Posted By Hazel Harvey Jen, The equivalent of IOSH in Italy is Associazone Italiana Addetti Alla Sicurezza (AIAS). Their President is also the Chairman of ENSHPO so you may be able to contact him through the ENSHPO web-site. Alternatively Google AIAS Italy. Hazel Harvey Professional Affairs Director.

Posted By Alan Haynes If you are not fluent in Italian, it could be extremely difficult to obtain employment over there. Your best [only?] bet could be a UK company with interests in Italy.
