Hi Davie
If you haven't worked offshore before, you will also need to attend the Greenhands course and there are a number of training companies offering this in the UK.

You were given a lot of sound advice when you last posted regarding securing an Offshore Position.

What H&S qualifications do you hold? What transferable trade skills do you possess? Is it a Safety post you are looking for?

In that case I would suggest that at this present time you save your time and money until the price of crude hits the $60+ per barrel mark.

At present most oil E&P companies are not hiring experienced hands, due to the low price of crude. Some are even stacking rigs, and I know a few folk in my company who are worried about their jobs.

Good luck in your search.

Jim
