Posted By rheuhart I am currently working as a health and safety representative for a public service union
And I am interested in taking up a full time career in health and safety.
I have my stage 1 in H&S already and I am looking forward to starting my stage 2 soon
I want to do a NEBOSH Certificate then do a NEBOSH Diploma.
is this the right way to go??

Posted By Franky If you are up for it my friend and have some experience then why not go for the NEBOSH Diploma from the start? Stick to it and learn well then put into practice what you have been taught. At the end of the day it is up to you, but far more employers are looking for Chartered members by examination which is of course the Diploma route. That's my personal view and other members may advise you differently, each to his / her opinion.
Having said that then the NVQ route may be a way forward for you but I cannot comment on this particular route, never been there.
Good luck to you.
Regards
Franky
