Hi House,
I just recently concluded my NEBOSH IGC in OSh and would like to know where and how to get an entry level job as a Safety Practitioner taking into consideration a fact that i don't have any expereince in the safety field.

Perhaps try the HSE themselves, I know they were recruiting just a few weeks ago.

If you have just completed the International General Certificate, then you are probably not in the UK, and by 'HSE' you mean 'Health Safety and Environment' rather than 'Health and Safety Executive'.
So, answering your question really depends on where you are located and your previous experience.
You may not have worked directly in an HSE related role but to get on the first rung of the ladder you may have had other relevant experience you can draw on.

Exactly Andrew,
I actually meant Health, Safety and Environment Entry LEvel Jobs and I'm currently working as a Customer Care Executive in Nigeria (for about a year now) but hold NEBOSH International General Certificate in OSH.
Do u tink i can 'draw' from been a customer care executive?

Working in H&S (&E!)is usually a second career so it does not matter what your background is, you will have specialist knowledge in that area that will help you 'apply' h&s principles in an environment you are used to.
It is such a large subject area that no - one (except me ;)) can be expert in everything. Safety in 'call centres' is really important and certainally an international topic, and you might wish to use this as a strong point in searching for a new career. You may wish to make enquiries to organisations that operate international customer care operations as a starting point.
Sell your strengths and experiences whilst being honest about development needs. In such a situation a UK based safety manager might welcome regional assistance by someone like you in return for personal development etc.
Of course you will have to learn about other work aspects as well, and having passed the IGC it sounds like you are off to a good start.

Hi
If you are in Nigeria, would you consider a role in Libya? I am aware of one that obviously dependent on your other experience might be suitable. It doesn't pay a lot in ME terms but they may consider you cert a good start. PM me if you are interested.
