Hi,
I posted recently about looking for a new position and did not get much of a response!
I am a 27 year old with NEBOSH NGC and I have just sat my A,B,C of the Diploma exams and plan to submit unit D for the September deadline, which I have funded myself.
I have over ten experience in the construction industry, at least three of these working for a small builder as the sole health and safety officer, and then for a medium size contractor as a site auditor/safety officer.
I have experience in both UK and R.O.I safety acts and Reg;s.
I have set up and implemented the Safety-T-Cert standard for the small contractor.
I have some experience working as an insurance/safety auditor and on a range of industries.
I was let go at the beginning of March and have had only two interviews, both with companies in Northern Ireland, the first job was pulled, whilst I am waiting to hear back on the second. So if anybody could look at my CV it would be great help, because I can not get an interview in England, Wales or Scotland.
I am hard working, adaptable and have been complemented on my common sense approach and methods to health and safety. I am extremely organised and I am a quick learner.
I am willing to consider any position (junior), in any location (UK, R.O.I or abroad), in any industry, be it coporate, manufacturing etc.
I can relocate at short notice, and can provide my own transport if required. If the position requires traveling, it does not phase me.
I would be willing to go on short term contracts, or trials periods.
Like quite a few of people, I just want to be back at work again.
Furthermore if anybody could have any further training advice for me, such on the CDM coordinator course, the prices, and the locations, and whether this will increase my chances of employment.
Regards
Chris Mc Cann
