I managed to secure a position via a posting on the discussion forms. It took a second, more detailed posting to get any interest in my CV and in both I got two separate interviews, one in which was in a completely different industry.

I detailed exactly what I have done, all education, where (aboard/home) in what industries. what i felt I was good etc

Give details on where and what you would be willing to do and of course, if your willing to relocate etc. Where you would like to go in your career, what you would like to learn etc.

I know it is hard to pick up any work at the moment, I spent the best part of 6 months looking and when I finally did, I had to relocate from Ireland. So keep your head up, get as many people to give you feedback on your CV and just keep popping away.

Well done Chris - proves perseverance does pay off - and possibly displaying as much relevant information before the thread becomes locked.

Good luck for your future.

Regards

Dave
