I have been working in a stores warehouse position as a general operative for the past five years. Two years ago i passed my nebosh general and have been looking for a job in h+s i am finding this difficult as i have no previous experience,can anyone please advise me on what to do next

Are you still working for the same company? I would suggest you piggyback on the work of the H&S advisor. follow him on his inspections etc. You could gain valuable exp that way.
