Posted By Tom Loomes They're nearly here! Yes, on 27 October the new IOSH forums (as well the new IOSH website) are being unleashed! Packed full of fancy new features, such as private messaging, avatars, RSS feeds and quote a post - the new forums have been designed with you in mind, and offer a much improved online experience. If you're an IOSH member you'll receive a letter or email next week with details about the new site, as well as information on how to log in or register. If you're not a member of IOSH, you'll need to register for the new website on 27 October in order to access the forums. Simply go to www.iosh.co.uk to get started. You can register in the top right-hand corner of any page. After you’ve registered, you’ll be able to use the forums straightaway! Check this thread soon for more info about new forum features!

New forum features
Our new forums are packed full of great new features...
PRIVATE MESSAGING
Private messaging (PM) lets you send messages to other users, all within the security of the IOSH forums. It's safer than sending an email as you're not revealing your email address to anyone. You'll have your own PM inbox within the IOSH forums, and will be alerted by email when you receive a new message (you can unsubscribe from this on your profile page).
AVATARS
You'll be able to upload an avatar - a picture or icon that represents you. For more information on avatar sizes and rules, check our new Forum rules page next Tuesday (27 October).
