Posted By Richard Forster Do you work as a health and safety officer (or equivalent) for a large employer eg Local Authority ? If so do you have planned maintenance of all your gas appliances ? If so, is this done in-house or is it undertaken by an external body eg Insurers ? Would anybody care to share their experiences of gas appliances in the workplace and the Gas Safety ((Installation and use) Regulations 1998. Anecdotes regarding bunsen burners and science technicians are not required !

Posted By Don Mason Richard, Speak to bob Waterfield (next week as he is off today) on 0121 569 6198. We have an in-house system but Being the boss here, I do not have the details. Bob is one of my Safety officers. I am sure I could come up with meaningful answers for your other threads but, it is friday pm and I am tired. It will be interesting to see some of the answers methinks Don ~~~~
